Facts and figures

The Forest Owners Association publishes a brochure each year, jointly released by the Ministry for Primary Industries. It contains background information and statistical data on our forest industry.

The Facts and Figures brochure has been published yearly since 2003 and includes:

• planted forestry highlights
• planted forestry statistics like ownership, location, planting and deforestation, and forest management trends
• export and production statistics
• health and safety statistics 
• supplementary information like log pricing data and the forest growers levy.
