Hill Country Erosion Programme
This Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) programme helps protect erosion-prone hill country. It provides funding to councils to work on regional projects. Landowners should contact their council's land management officers to find out about programmes in their areas.
Ngā Whenua Rāhui fund
This Department of Conservation (DOC) fund helps protect native ecosystems on Māori-owned land. It allows landowners to retain full ownership and management.
Māori Agribusiness Pathway to Increased Productivity (MAPIP) programme
This MPI programme supports Māori landowners and trustees improve the productivity of primary sector assets.
