Plant propagation forms for nurseries

We've created 4 forms to help nurseries propagate plants.

Native seed collection data sheet

This form lets you record:

  • the plant name
  • detailed seed collection sites (for example, GPS location)
  • the quantity of seeds collected
  • photographs of the collection site.

Nursery record form

This form lets you record:

  • the plant's name
  • whether the seed was easy, medium or hard to grow
  • the best time to collect seeds
  • seed collection sites
  • seed storage and treatment methods
  • strike rates of cuttings
  • any pests or diseases.

Plant propagation record: plants grown from cuttings

This form lets you record:

  • the plant name
  • cutting type (for example, softwood or hardwood)
  • cutting treatments
  • the propagation media (for example, perlite, sand or potting mix)
  • transplanting date and other information
  • any pests or diseases.

Plant propagation record: plants grown from seed

This form lets you record:

  • the plant name
  • seed quality (for example, viable or non-viable)
  • seed treatment notes
  • sowing date and other information
  • transplanting date and other information
  • any pests and diseases.
