B+LNZ and Te Uru Rākau: Planting for profit field day

This event is a collaboration between Beef+Lamb New Zealand and Te Uru Rākau - New Zealand Forest Service (TUR), to provide access to expertise so you can navigate your land use choice and ways to diversify your farm’s income.
Expect a knowledgeable, on-farm experience including:
- a farm tour showcasing real examples of tree integration
- opportunity to connect with industry experts
- expert insights into the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) – what it means for your farm and how to get started
- practical discussions on erosion control, riparian planting, and farm resilience
- networking with other farmers, industry experts, and advisors.
This field day will focus on supporting informed decision-making – not pushing a single approach. Whether you’re considering planting as a way to diversify income or enhance farm productivity, this event will give you the tools and insights to make the best choice for your farm.
The day will include a farm tour 4WD vehicles required. Lunch will be provided.
Register on the Beef+Lamb New Zealand website.
